Really good protected. Poor instructions.
The steps required to plan a Individual Passcode (page 5) are incorrect. Tried numerous times then referred to as Buyer Help (800-223-8566). The appropriate sequence is as follows:
1. Protected open, bolts extended, door deal with in down position.

three. Press reset button in door.
4. Enter new passcode on keypad followed by .
five. Enter new passcode again followed by .
6. Green light = passcode altered effectively.
The instruction manual has two and 3 reversed.
Not a poor safe, but I discovered the initial programming infuriating. I contemplate myself to be quite knowledgeable with most points electronic, but the directions for programming the combination that came with my protected had been just flat incorrect. The instruction tell you to push in the combination reset button, then enter the new code twice. I did this more than and over and over and over. Would not accept new code. I was just about to throw the thing via the window (no smaller feat) and I decided to try some thing unique: Enter the preset code First, then press the rest button, then the new code twice and...it works! Only difficulty is, the manual never ever says something about entering the old code very first (main GRRRRRR).
