This is our second Sentry secure.
The secure is sturdy, and the dial and manage really feel a great deal more solid than our other safe.
It is huge, and it is heavy, so know exactly where you want to put it prior to you get started carrying it around.
There's space for hanging file folders inside the secure which is handy.
All around, it's a superior safe. The important locking mechanism isn't as good as the other secure we have, but it operates, so I guess that's what matters.
The bolts are thick which assist guard the secure from unauthorized access.
I have quite a couple of of the smaller sized SentrySafe lockboxes for random items such as titles and other documents, and they operate relatively nicely for their created purposes. Whilst their smaller sized cousins are effortlessly picked up and dropped on a corner in order to bypass the locking mechanism, these bigger safes - whilst not Fort Knox by any implies - deliver an added layer of security due to their sheer mass.
The fundamentals of the secure - the locking mechanism, both physical and digital worked flawlessly despite the fact that the face plate lever and rotary lock felt somewhat low cost and rattled a bit. Although this did not impact the safe's efficiency, it just seemed sort of cheesy.
I undoubtedly did not test out the fire or water protection claims, having said that I will say that like the smaller lockboxes, because this safe creates a waterproof seal it has a habit of locking moisture in as nicely. Should certainly you make a decision to shop documents in this safe, make sure that you obtain (or save) Silica Gel packets or some other sort of desiccants to spot inside the safe. Otherwise even ambient moisture in the air will turn your documents musty and wet.
